What’s your favorite season?

Why is it your favorite season?

My favorite season is autumn when the weather starts to turn cooler in the evenings and mornings. We have the windows open more and my walks/hikes in the morning are so nice because I’m not sweating and fighting bugs. The only problem is that I tend to get sinus issues and right now I’m trying to fend off a sinus infection. I went for a hike yesterday, and as soon as I got into the woods, bam, I could feel the allergies starting and the sinuses getting inflamed. 🙁

My sinuses are bad, too. I have to take a few different medications for them. But they allow me to cope with it all year long and enjoy the outdoors.

I can get it all at SAMs without a prescription so I stock up on it.

Well, it turned out that it wasn’t my allergies and sinus problems after all and I had just caught a cold last week. I still have it today, but finally feel tons better after 7 days. I haven’t been sick in years and had forgotten how bad it could feel 🙁

It seems like I get every sickness that goes through these days.

I got covid when it first came out before we knew what it was. I got the really bad strain of it and it was a crazy illness, too.

I get stomach bugs all the time.

The stomach is said to be where a lot of illness begins. I eat sweets and people complain about it saying I’m making things worse for myself. I dunno.

I still haven’t had Covid, had anaphylaxis both times to the vaccine and I really don’t get sick. This came on suddenly, which was a shock to me. I guess I’m back to hand sanitizing after touching those pay screens at the store!!

My wife had an allergic reaction to the first shot. She didn’t take any more.

I took the first and had explosive diarrhea and couldn’t quit throwing up. I also decide against taking anymore.

I’m not against it or anti-vax, but I don’t want the covid vaccine because just like the commercials say, it’s not for everyone.

I take other shots though, as long as they don’t give me a crazy reaction.

I agree!! I’m not anti-vax, but I wish the companies would eliminate PEG that they put into them. Has your wife had any strange allergies since the shot? If she notices issues, take a look at polyethylene glycol (PEG, macrogal and so many other names). I had to purge so many things from the house so I could breathe.

I will have to look into that.

She has gotten more allergies since that shot.

OH then definitely see if eliminating PEG from everything helps! I remember being sick for MONTHS, or so I thought it was being sick, but it was actually that I was allergic to the cough medicine I was taking! It was making my throat tighten up and I felt I had to cough. Once I stopped all the meds, I didn’t cough!

I’m sick of being sick LOL

Every time there is a cold around, I know I’m getting it.

Over here we have just two seasons which are the rainy season and the dry season, or, as some like to call it, the wet and dry season. My personal favorite is the rainy season. This is because the weather is usually very cold, especially when it rains; it helps with the hot weather, and there are power outages.

Spring—neither extremely hot nor extremely cold; it’s a middle ground, and above all, very varied. There’s rain, sunny days, some hot days, other cool days, and cloudy days—to me, it feels like the quintessential season of the year.

I like the summer period which is the dry season here. I enjoy the weather as it offers abundance of fresh produce. · It's the season for vacation so more opportunity to get outside and enjoy I love to swim so it's perfect temperatures for swimming. ·

Okay, but what’s the temperature like? The way you describe it, it sounds like spring—or summer on days when it’s not extremely hot—at least that’s how it would be in my country. I’m not sure what it’s like where you are, though; it really depends on the actual temperature and how consistent it is—that’s what determines whether I can relate or not, lol. In any case, I do get that it’s the perfect time for swimming and things like that, as well as for eating ice cream and having all sorts of cold drinks.
